2010 STATEN ISLAND COMEDY FESTIVAL AUDITIONS
An extension from the weekly Wacky Wednesdays competition they hosted towards the end of 2009, Soul Joel Productions hosted auditions for the 2010 Staten Island Comedy Festival. Every Wednesday in April, local comedians competed for a spot on one of two finals May 12th and May 19th at The Looney Bin Comedy Club (141 E Service Road). Each final crowned winners who have been given the opportunity to perform on the 2010 Staten Island Comedy Festival.
On Wednesday, May 12th & 19th these comedians competed at The Looney Bin Comedy Club in Staten Island and won the opportunity to perform on the 2010 Staten Island Comedy Festival.

2009 STATEN ISLAND COMEDY FESTIVAL
In 2009, 42 comedians competed for 10 spots on the 2nd Annual Staten Island Comedy Festival. Over 21,180 votes were cast giving 10 comedians the chance to compete for a spot on The Grand Finale. A winner from each night was crowned as the “Big Stage Competition Champion” and had the opportunity to open up for Gary Gulman at the Music Hall at Snug Harbor.
