Andy Hayward

andy-haywardAndy has been handy with the twist of the tongue, the turn of the phrase and the effects of sound forever. And thankfully, the world at large is catching on.Regarded as the “must-see” comedian on today’s circuit, Andy’s unique ability for storytelling – enriched with a colorful cast of characters and sound effects – has earned him comparisons to Jonathan Winter and Bill Cosby. Andy’s comedy and show-business heritage goes back to his grandmother’s tours with Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, WC FIelds, Laurel and Hardy and Abbott and Costello. Raised on the stories of vaudeville’s legends, Andy’s been in front of audiences since 6th grade. But make no mistake about it – Andy’s contemporary comedy is born of today’s streets.

Andys theatrical roots in Florida landed him leading roles in The Sunshine Boys,Rehearsal for Murder Closet Madness and ”The Saga of the Roaring Gulch”. Accepted into the Screen Actors Guild in 1995, Andy changed locales and signed with the famed commercial agency Carol Ingber & Associates in New York. His talent gained him network TV spots for Honda, Playschool, Ameritrade and Sea Doo, as well as international ads including a major spot for the Japanese market with Michael J. Fox.

Andy was one of only a handful of performers chosen to represent the American Comedy Institute at the renowned Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York City. He has opened for Bobcat Goldthwait, Jimmy “J.J.” Walker, Otto & George, and Basil, but his hilarious performances are what’s getting him noticed now. Andy Hayward is truly a one-of-a-kind artist whose appeal seems to be universal. His unique characters and his unforgettable delivery are leaving people laughing long after their time spent with him.
